Let's go Baler!

10:34 PM

Baler, Aurora is one of the famous places in Central Luzon, known for its giant waves. Located Northeast of Manila via a mountain pass accessible in a 5-7 hours travel by bus and private vehicle, Baler is an emerging destination for locals and foreigners who love to surf and escape the stress of the city.

My family and I decided to discover this town. We heard a lot buzz about Baler but due to limited time we only get to spend a day and night.

Caution: On our way, we encountered many steep roads so fasten your seat belt.

These are the thing we did during our stay:

DINE-OUT

Upon arriving, we decided to dine-out before anything else. There's nothing like eating with the family.

Some food places we've checked out are:

Gerry Shan's Place

Sulit Lutong Bahay Eat and Drink all you can for just P185.

Local Seafood

Price vary depending on size. Ranging from P250 - P400

(Though I'm not really a fan of seafoods)

SABANG BEACH

We stayed in a air conditioned nipa hut just beside the beach where we can hear the inviting sounds of the waves.

SURF SURF SURF!

This is the surfer's paradise.

Professional surfer or not, you will surely enjoy surfing the huge waves of Sabang Beach. The local surfers offer surfing lessons ranging from P350 to P400 per hour (includes instructor, surfboard, and rash guard.)

OOTD BY THE BEACH MAYBE? (Drum roll)

Fresh air, the beauty of the setting sun, the splash of the waves from the shore, Isn't it a perfect day for a photo shoot? HAHAHA

Before heading home, we decided to take peek of the history and rich culture of this town.

Inside the museum is this giant photowall and a lot of Baler artifacts, each tell a story about the town's rich culture and history.

BALER 400 YEARS OF TOWNSHIP MONUMENT

If you're looking for a place to hang out with your family or friends, Baler is the place to be, We surely enjoyed this quiet town and its fascinating culture and attractions. The town is full of interesting destinations. (too bad we didn't have enough time to explore them all)

See you in my adventure!
